Sexual Violence Risk and Protective Factors: A Systematic Review of the Literature (2017)

This 2017 review leveraged existing systematic reviews of empirical literature regarding risk and protective factors for sexual violence perpetration. Given increasing interest in understanding the ways in which risk and protective factors are common across forms of violence, the review examines the extent to which the identified factors are relevant to multiple forms of aggression, including teen dating violence, intimate partner violence, youth violence, bullying, and suicide and self-harm.
